Professor Lidgren, the founder of BONESUPPORT™, is an internationally respected scientist who has been the President of various musculoskeletal societies. He is the initiator of “Bone and Joint Decade”. He combines his medical profession with a strong interest in technology and has a wide experience as an entrepreneur, holding around 100 patents.

Establishing BONESUPPORT™ in 1999
Professor Lidgren spent several years researching the possibility of developing an “ideal“ bone substitute product. Based on collaborative work within the Laboratory of Biomaterials and Biomechanics, Lund University, Sweden, promising research results, and patents motivated Professor Lidgren to establish BONESUPPORT™ in 1999.
