FREE PRE-WORKSHOP: Current Topics in Local Antibiotic Delivery for Osteomyelitis Management

Chaired by Prof. Lars Lidgren and Prof. Carlo Romanò with a faculty including Internationally renowned surgeons and infection specialists, the workshop aims to provide practical information and guidance on the surgical and microbiological management of osteomyelitis highlighting the use of local delivery of antibiotics.
The workshop aims to catch the theme of the congress highlighted by the organising committee in their welcome on the EBJIS 2013 website for ‘Prevention and Therapy’ with potential for ‘Minimizing systemic side effects and the possibility of achieving high local efficiency can help us solve one of the most important topics of today – resistance to antibiotics’
